Use a protein pack once a week. There are some good ones at Sallys beauty supply about a $2pk (you get a few uses out of 1). Some smell nasty but they strengthen your hair. & use a moisture treatment every other day to keep it flexible ($2pk). When you wash your hair don't scrunch it up, smooth the shampoo through, you can still scrub your scalp just do it underneath your hair. No sense tangleing it more. Get a wide toothed comb for combing it when its wet. & if you need it, put some conditioner in a spray bottle with mostly water as a cheap tangle spray.
And I hate to say the "cut" word, but your gonna need to trim the ends quite a bit. That way you won't tear out or break as much hair when you comb it. Plus it will look better as it grows out without the fried ends.

try this .. it works for everyone! oil your hair.. use olive oil, coconut oil.. or mustard oil.. and leave the oil in our hair overnight!! make sure you cover your hair strands in oil and sleep..( without the shower cap on!!) wash your hair normally in the morning! this has to work!
Read on::
Most of the reasons for dry hair come from external factors, such as:
• sun damage
• over use of styling aids
• colouring and perming.
Dry hair is mostly caused by the sebaceous glands producing too little oil. A low oil secretion reduces the natural protection of the hair and moisture content.
Also, if you have been ill and prescribed medication the hair can become damaged and dry.
Dry hair does not need washing as often as normal or greasy hair. Once or twice a week is all you'll need to keep it clean and cleanse your scalp.
Choose a nourishing shampoo for dry hair. It'll help protect it without stripping it of any natural oils.
Condition your hair regularly with an intensive treatment to prevent further damage and lock in the moisture you might have lost due to all that hair styling.
If you can bear it, let your hair dry naturally to give it a rest from all those heated appliances. Also a regular trim will get rid of any split ends and keep it looking good.

It sounds like you need moisture in your hair. You should get a shampoo and conditioner that will replace the moisture and elasticity in your hair and since you mentioned you had a perm you will want products that are for chemically damaged hair. You may also want to try a weekly treatment just to boost the moisture replacement. Sometimes a little bit of a trim helps get rid of the damage.

look into getting a cute short cut. You cant correct damage like that with products nothing will fix it except a good cut. In four months your hair only grows 2 inches. Don't waste your money on products. There are some really cute short styles and your hair will eventually grow back. I have had this problem before and tried everything! your hair will just keep breaking off until it grows out

you need to go to Sally's beauty supply store and buy a weekly deep conditioner. apply it after you shampoo, cover with a shower cap and leave on for 20 minutes! and don't wash your hair every day maybe every other day. when you condition your hair normally leave it in for 3-5 minutes before you rinse it so the steam from the shower can push it into your hair shaft. and always comb through with fingers while conditioner is in. use shine serum before you blow dry or use any thermal appliances on your hair!!! good luck hope this helps you

ok. don't wash your hair for a day or two. yes! do not wash for a day or two! this will give the oils in your hair a chance to repare the damage. and you can wash your hair with water too. but don't rub the water in your hair. just rinse it. and go to a salon and see what they can do there. get a hot oil treatment or get your hair deep conditoned. good luck!
