I just juiced a bag of onions. I am drying out the onion solids. Now I have all this juice. I probably have about 3 litres. Apart from trying to make tear gas, I was wondering what else I could do with it. Any sauce ideas? I am a bit of a home scientist so any ideas whatsover would be great. Preferebly cooking receipes thanks

@ Libby L
I am going to dry the solids and turn to powder. Then make cupa soups etc. Why would you say 'pour it down the drain'?

Also the onion powder will be used to make 'salt shakers' mixes. The kids get to practice making their own and learning about such things also

freeze it in ice cube trays then use it in sauces ,soups or casseroles when freezing be sure to put the trays in a plastic bag so as not to smell up the hole freezer.

First thought is what are you going to do with the onion solids? But make french onion soup or pour it down the drain.

You can make brown gravy for mashed potatoes
out of it. SWISS STEAK WITH BROWN GRAVY

3 lbs. top sirloin
1 pkg. Swiss steak seasoning
2 pkgs. brown gravy mix
2 tbsp. butter
1 diced onion (med)

Slice steak into 4x4 inch pieces and soak in 1 cup of warm water with steak seasoning, piercing steak with a fork, soak for 1 hour or as time permits.

Drain meat retaining seasoning at the bottom of bowl. Brown meat in skillet with butter and seasoning and diced onion. Allow steak to simmer, add 1/2 cup of water as needed and continue coking for 20 minutes.

Mix gravy with 2 cups of cold water and pour into a Dutch oven, add browned steak and cooked onion mixture. Place in a preheated 400 degree oven for 1 1/2 hours, stirring every 1/2 hour. Serve with a generous portion of homemade mashed potatoes. Each recipe serves 4.

Why not freeze the juice in ice cube trays and then use the frozen cubes for flavoring soups, and stews, etc?

Soup.
Or make a broth add juice, and freeze to keep for later use, that calls for broth.

Put it in a water gun, and do some drive-by onion squirtations on unsuspecting folks (preferably well-to-do folks).
