i have a friend and she's 15 years old and she's about 5 ft. 2 in. and she only weighs 80 pounds.. what does she have to do to get more weight... some people may say for her to start lifting weights but then won't she look like a guy with all those muscles after a couple of months?? that doesn't look good on a girl...

so... how?? she needs fat!!!

i dont think she needs fat. maybe doing yoga or other low intensity muscle workouts will tone her muscles and increase her weight without her looking like a man.

Lifting weights will not bulk her up like a guy. It is very difficult for a woman to gain that much muscle. If she lifts she will not look like a guy. Testosterone helps men gain muscle faster plus they are just born with more. She should eat more calories. She should eat more and more healthy foods, not just extra fats. Every woman gains weight eventually, but it might take a little longer for her.

Im the same way! But im 5'7" and 105... I eat and eat but dont gain a pound! Once her metabolism hits a spurt, she will start gaining weight! :]]

just eat more, but sometimes that person's metabolism is too fast and no matter how much they eat they don't gain anything.
