This is a serious question, not meant to insult. Non-religious people don't really need to reply. I just want to know what effect this would have on a person's faith if any.

No, not at all. Why would a book's burning effect what is in my heart and in my mind?

Hopefully, that will never happen . But just in case it does, I would use every nook and cranny of my brain. Remembering way back to the age of three years old. I would Write every Bible verse that I had memorized down and continue to pass all my recolections on paper. I would gather my beloved Christians together and start over. Start a new place to worship, even if it was in a ditch. With all of us together, we could re-build. We would not perish. The Holy Spirit and wisdom within all of us, would unite what we have in our God given memories. My Faith would grow and knowing that God would want us to be stong and with Him in our lives, we would grow. It would not effect my Faith. It would give me a Greater reason to re-build. Good question. You get an A+.

no look around there has to be a creator; In a small village in Africa a king ask a peasant i would like to have sexually relation with your wife ? with no knowledge of god and any religion groups the peasant says no. the king ask why? the peasant responded because i know its wrong . god puts these DNA in everybody because you will be blame less on the day you die there is no excuse you can use? you have been created to worship somebody are some thing the choice is yours, without going into a long story look at American natives for hundreds of years they been worshiping all kinds of gods unfortunately there all false gods and not the creator of the universe (example the moon god , the sun god the god of the air ) the god of Abraham is truly the god of the universe and something deep down inside of you knows that

I havent examine what others have pronounced to you, so im going to easily permit you comprehend my opinion. first of all, i'm a Christian, yet i completely see the place your coming from. Christianity is a extensive element, there is a lot to it, yet submit to in concepts area of the Bible is over 3000 years old, so its been around for a looonnng time, for this reason, its had a lot of time to construct up scrutiny. additionally, i think of its the Emperor Constantine that your speaking approximately? He became the only that moved the mandatory city of the Roman empire from Rome to Byzantine, which he renamed Constantinople... i think of?! yet you ought to submit to in concepts each faith has extremists. and in christianity's case Constantine became an extremist. He used his faith to income means in the common Roman way, by using rigidity. So dont be concluding your concepts on Christianity by using that's people, yet do it for the period of the be conscious itself. that's the certainty, it extremely is what Christianity is consistent with. Now i see the place your at a loss for words whilst it includes the team spirit of the Bible. In 367AD a team of elders shaped the canon of scripture that has replace into our Bible. the reason of their narrowing of scriptures is that if we proceed to settle for many of diverse scriptures into our faith then how will all of us comprehend what's sound certainty? Is it extra effective to have a extensive volume of scripture and the possibility of many errors and misguiding or is it extra effective to have a smaller, sounder scripture? Martin Luther became in the sixteenth century. He observed that the Catholic have been charging funds so people could have prayers and be pardoned for sin and to even permit its lay people "pay" for their enjoyed ones to get to heaven.. that's not what the Bible teaches! the Bible teaches that it extremely is by using grace by faith that we are saved. If we've faith then God's grace will provide us a place in heaven.. please permit me comprehend if i'm able to help in any opposite direction.

Pagans have no Holy Scripture, and any place can be a place of worship. Our faith is in how we see the world around us and how we live our lives.

Wouldn't affect my faith, but it would try my patience lol. Since access to scripture is so easy right now, I don't spend a lot of time memorizing anymore, so I'd be mad because of my own laziness lol

We'd be forced to learn and study based on memory, and could no longer read from the Torah.
