When I was 13 I was exactly the same, but an inch shorter. I just had a really fast metabolism. I started to gain weight in eleventh grade, but only in the way of curves. I'm 21 now and I still eat like a pig and I only weigh like 105. I don't think it's serious, but if you want to gain weight then I would suggest double cheeseburgers from McDonald's. My mom started feeding me two or three a day when I was 16, and I gained like 8 pounds. I know how awful it is to be super skinny, I wouldn't wear bikini's because people always talked about my bones showing. I would rather be fat, because people pretend not to notice.

I'm 5'1 and 95 lbs and everyone considers me skinny. At 5'3, honey, you should weigh more. I know that gymnastics likes to keep you at a low weight, but there may be problems down the line like no periods and other health issues. I hope you weigh 72 lbs. because you're athletic and not due to an eating disorder. Personally, I think we both need to put a few pounds on.

I am 15 and 5'1 and weigh 90 lbs. I think you need a nutritionalist to help you gain a little bit more weight cuz at your height you need to be atleast 100- 110 lbs. Don't listen to anybody who says to eat fatty foods, it doesnt help you gain weight the right and healthy way. You will die sooner by eating McDonalds every week. Good luck and take care of yourself.

It sounds like your underweight. Being small is a big pressure put on everyone to "fit in" to society. Some people just have a high metabolism. Apparently it bothers you or you wouldn't be asking. If you want to gain and maintain a healthy weight, try drinking ensure along with eating right.

yes it is you need to go to the doctor. so they can put you on medicine for you to gain weight. especially since your height is taking up some of that weight.

Sounds a little skinny to me. You should be at least like 90 something lbs. At your age, I was 100 lbs.
