You have to get a DNA test. Not even experts can tell by looking.

Comparing body parts is difficult and unreliable. Each animal is different so you may be comparing parts that say, "male" but on that bird it's just larger and "male like" when it's a female.

With most parrots, you have to get a DNA test. Some parrots are sexually dimorphic (meaning you can determine their gender by their appearance), such as the Eclectus, where the male is mostly green, and the female is mostly red. see a vet. sexing a parrot is not easy, usually done by DNA not a cheap test either. so unless you really have to know, why bother.

you cant well there are some parrots you can tel lthe diff. but most birds you can not you have to get them sexed at your vet .
