thats the vostros form. Nostros is preferimos. Don't stress out, just take it one day at a time...spanish can be confusing for anyone...even if you are from a spanish speaking hertiage. Don't worry, it's fine. At least you had the vostros form right.

if you're talking about the present tense, preferir is preferimos. There's no change from e to ie in the nosotros form.
