first wash the surface of the toy with warm water and a mild soap - RINSE very well.
then offer it to the dog; if the dog doesn't mind (some like that smell), don't worry about it!
if U don't like the smell, that's another issue: most solid-rubber toys are top-rack dishwasher-safe.
just be sure to rinse it once again, just in case, after it comes out - and turn OFF the drying-cycle.
that extra-heat, especially Dry Heat, can make the rubber break down sooner - U want a durable, clean-able toy.

Call the factory and tell them to stop recycling condoms into dog-toys.

if it really bothers you that much put it in a plastic bag w/1TBSP of baking soda, freeze over night that should do the trick.
