I'm in the market for a new vehicle and am hoping to find out which companies (specifically interested in Toyota, Chevy and Ford) typically have the best incentives and when? Should I hold off now and wait until late December to save money on a brand new 2006?

i own a repair shop, and i have found the best time to be around November or December because they don't want them around to be put back on the books for the next year, they have to pay sales tax on them if they don't sell them,so you can get a real good deal ,from now till Christmas, good luck i hope this help,s.

I think the best time to purchase a new car is about a month or two after they bring out the new model year and the dealers are offering more incentives to get last years models off the lot and offering as much as possible for your trade. Just keep watching those sales ads and when you think the time is right, get out there and don't be afraid to go out and kick a lot of tires and also to walk away if you don't think you are getting a good deal.

The best time to buy a car is towards the end of the year when dealers are trying to clear out their older cars and bring in new models. However some cars have no effect such as the Toyota Prius. You will likely pay full price on this car no matter what time of the year it is.

Another tip is to buy a car towards the end of the month. Ever dealer has a quota they must meet at the end of the month. Dealers that haven't met their sales target are desperate to sell you a car and bend over backwards to accommodate you.

Go online and check for incentives. There should be some 06' models still on the lots at a good price.

You have always more chance to get a better deal when it is at the end of the month. e.g if you go 30 or 31 October dealers usually have monthly cot-as and they are ready to make a deal. If you go the beginning of the month they have the rest of the month to fill their cot-as.

it depends on what make the new vehicle is ? if it' s domestic then it's would be near the end of the year as the new model would be coming out then, if it's an import then it would be June or July
