Earth is 6000 years old or so? No, that is not in the Bible.
There was a universal deluge? No, if you read it you'd know, it wasn't a solid rain, it also came from below.
Noah put pairs of every animal in the Ark? No, just the ones in his area
God made Adam and Eve? Yes, and everyone else evolved.
God split the Red Sea? Yes, He made it, He can split it.
Methuselah lived 900 years? Yes, before God shortened our days, Adam and Eve lived for millions in the Garden, so what's a mere 900 years?
Other Biblical people lived hundreds of years? See above, yes.
Jesus resurrected? Yes
Mary got pregnant without intercourse? It's called In vitro fertilization, this is not big news, we can do this now.
Joshua stopped the Sun? No, God did.
Jesus lineage goes back to David and Solomon, but ends right in Joseph, who has no blood links with Jesus whatsoever?? No, not the begats, but His lineage through Mary.
"How come you people still believe all this crap in the year 2006 (Christian reckoning), especially since THERE IS NO TANGIBLE, MEASURABLE PROOF OF ALL THE ABOVE-WHAT-SO-E-VER???????????..." Do you believe in black holes or dark matter in space? Why, when there is no tangible measurable proof whatsoever?

There are many proofs to show that the earth is about six thousand years old. Ocean sludge, rotation speed of the earth, distance of the moon to the earth, number of stars, et cetera et cetera.
Before the flood people lived longer because of the hydrosphere layer which made breathing great because oxygen was fifty percent of the air.
There is an absence of time (when God told Joshua to stop the sun) which is still evident today.
These are just some of the answers, but who cares right? Those Christians will say anything. Right?
But really, Christians are really strong. We have to be because every single day people criticize us for our beliefs. We continue to believe in spite of it all. Why would we believe for no reason at all? The truth is that people will not understand anything until they accept Jesus. There is a purpose to life, and it's glorifying God.
By no means at all is the Bible "crap." It's always been THE bestseller. Also, why would people get prosecuted and murdered for even owning a Bible if it's just crap. People know how powerful it is, and they don't want it to spread. In some countries it is illegal to be in possession of the Bible.
You should have done some research before you tried to disprove God's Word.
God loves us all so much that He gave us free will to believe whatever we want to believe... even if it distances us from Him. This God-given free will is self-inflectedly bittersweet in some cases.

Well, I'll quote what the wises man that ever lived would say to a gentleman like you; "How long will you inexperienced ones keep loving inexperience, and how long must you ridiculers desire for yourselves out right ridicule, and how long will you stupid ones keep hating knowledge?"......By the way, the earth is over 14 billion years old, and Jesus is much older that that. There is plenty of proof that there was a global flood-evrybody knoes that. That is correct, Noah was very busy for over forty years . God made Adam, and he put Adam into a deep sleep and took a rib from him and cloned Eve from it-Iam sure you have read about cloning, man just learned about it 10 years ago. God split the Red Sea, created the entire universe and through him all other things came to be-even you. Yes, and Adam lived 970 years,70 more years than Methuselah. Yes many biblical people lived hundreds of years. Yes Jesus was resurrected after being dead for three days, Lazzarus for 4,and many of us will be resurrected after hundreds and even thousands of years. Yes, Mary was impregnated by Gods will, or Holy Spririt, the same force that split the red sea, resurrected Jesus and others, and made the universe, and you. God's Holy Spirit can stop the sun-He made it so why can't he stop it, He also made trillions of other stars-all of which He calls by name. That is right, Jusus came from Davids lineage-check your sorces again, you are wrong there also. The bible assures us that all these things are true, and secular history backs it up-you are such an angry person. May the undeserved kindness of our Lord, Jusus and His heavenly Father, Jehovah continue to give you life and prosperity. Remember, the apostle Paul was himself a man that hated Christians and killed them and persecuted them until he learned of the glorious good news of God's kingdom, then he became a great man dedicated to fine works....KECK

We could ask you why you don't.
It's a choice we make and there has always been nay sayers like you throughout the ages, even when Jesus walked the earth, this is why they killed him.
To believe without proof is called Faith, and I have lots of it. I will pray that you have your eyes open to the truth, and I don't understand why if you don't believe you have to try and destroy what someone else believes, you believe what you do and let us believe what we want to. OK no hard feelings that's just what free choice means. Jesus knows for sure.
Oh and scientific research has proved earth is much older than what you say, and there is also scientific proof that earth was destroyed by a great deluge. And there is no proof that Jesus did not father sons and daughters, maybe he wanted that part kept secret, but I will tell you that he was a very humble man and did not want great pomp and razzle dazzle as the Jews thought would accompany the king they asked God for to rule them. His lineage was in Mary his mother.

Let's see:
No. It's much older.
Yes. There is archaelogical evidence to support this.
Not necessarily. It's possible that some were excluded because they weren't indigenous to the area, or were too large.
Yes.
Absolutely.
Yes.
Yes.
Yes. There is evidence to support this as well:

Yes. Otherwise she would have been stoned, and NOT in a good way. She was never unsupervised. There was no opportunity for her to have intercourse.
Yes. This has been corroborated using science.
The prophesies did say that His parents would be descended from the tribe of David, and it was, on both sides. Mary and Joseph were distant cousins.
There is no proof. There is only evidence.

Don't let you lack of understanding and knowledge deter you from an awesome opportunity.
Becoming a Christian is not like flipping a switch. It's when you finally realize what it truly means to be a Christian. You're not "done" by any measure! You're now just beginning.
It's a life changing and growing relationship with God through Jesus. You will see, hear, think, feel and act differently on the inside during your journey. You feel part of the plan and start to see your parts to play.
The best part is that you don't have to feel bad that you're not perfect. God knows we're not perfect and does not expect us to be. He created us and knows us better than ourselves. Putting your faith in the Lord and accepting Jesus is all you have to do.
The tangible and measurable proof that we do see are people acting as Jesus did. It's in the meals people create at the local church for people who volunteer to help in their community; its in the offering of camping supplies to single parent families to go camping for free as a family; its in the "doing good" for nothing in return. Have you ever stopped to help a stranger in need? That's the Holy Spirit working in you.
Good luck and God bless!

There's a stretch of the Red Sea that parts when tidal forces pull the water back from a 17 mile long jetti. This sort of thing isn't uncommon at all in mild shallow salt seas. In that context there's a lot of the bible that could certainly be true from the perspective of the witness.

wanna balloon??,
You seemed to take a few things literally, or have accepted that all Christians think the same thing about the same topics. But I'll leave you with this:
My faith is based upon the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. No matter what year it is, and no matter what someone else might think about it.
God reveals Himself to those He wants. That's why you are not seeing the "proof." He only reveals Himself to those that trust Him.

I would first like to show you something very important. try for a moment to think of any explosion that has created order. does a terrorist Bomb create harmony? Big Bangs cause chaos. here is what would produce the neccisary blind faith to make the big bang theory true. remove eevrything from your garage, every peice of metal, wood, rubber everything. then wait for ten years and see if ther is a random explosion that cretaes a mercedes. if it dosent leave it for 10,000 years. or if you prefer to use the skewed logic of eveolutionist leave it for 250million years. Listen to this excerpt from the U.S world and news report: "new scientific revelations about supernovas, black holes, qurks, and the big bang are no suggesting to scientist that there is a grand design in the universe." Jim holt, science writer for the wall street Journal said "The universe suddenly exploded into being... the Big bang bears an uncanny resemblance to the the genesis command". these arent right wing fundamentalist relgious Jesus nuts, these are credible scientist.
even a child can see that there is grand design and that we were created.
The book of Genesis tells us that everything was created by God nothing evolved. evry creature was given the abillity to reproduce after its own kind as stated Ten times in Genesis 1. Dogs dont produce cats, niether do Dogs or cats have common ancestry. Dogs began as Dogs and are still dogs. they vary from saint benards to labradors, but you will not find a half cat half dog in Gods creation. frogs dont produce oysters, cows dont give birth to lambs, and pregnant Pigs dont give birth to rabbits.God made each monkeys as monkeys and man as Mna. each creature brings forth after its own kind. thats no theory, thats a fact. why then should we belive that man comes from another species> if evolution is true, then it is proof that the BIble is wrongHowever, al of creation stands in direct contradiction to the theory of eveolution. Infact the notion of species as natural Kinds fits perfectly with creationist tenets of a pre darwinian age. louis agassiz even argued that species are Gods individual thoughts, made incarnate so that we might perceive his both his majesty and his message. species he wrote, were are instituded by the devine intelligence as the catigories of his mode of thinking. But How could a division of the organic world into discrete entities be Justified by an evolutionary theory that proclaimed ceasless change as the fundamental dfact of nature? the answer is simple my friend, while many bash cristians for there belife in God, in relity it takes much more faith to belive the evolutionary garbage is true, especially given al the evidence Justi given that stands in direct contradiction.
secondly, how do you know that chrisitans are "Crazy" for beliving in a God?
infact, I would suggest that unbelifein God has the same intelectual status.
belife in God is the Hope that there is soomethiung after death, that there is ulitmate Justice and freedom for all eternity. where as the Unbeliving have the same intellectual status for there unbelife, the unbelife holds the Hope that there is nothing and that there will be no eternity and no one to ultimately give an account to. Its the same intellectual status, Just on the flip side. but heres the problem, if Chrisitans are wrong and there is no judgement day or hell youy wont even know its good news, you will be in eternal sleep, you wont even have the pleasure of saying "i told you so". But if the Christans are right and there is Judgement day and Hell, and you have broken Gods standard (Ten Commandments) by lying and steling or looking with lust (adultry of the heart), or using Gods name in vain, or failing to Put him first ect. if God and Judgement day are real, the BIBle says you will lose your soul for an eternity. your playing russian roullet with a loaded Gun.
God Bless
