Its good to stay friends with your ex and talk on the phone from time to time, but gift giving is not for exes.

Why not i mean if it is his birthday or like a holliday but if it was just any other day and you got him something that will lead to misunderstandings!

nope! absolutely not, they will appreciate it, but they will never think about you even if you give it to them! Unless you were truly dear to their heart and they are having a fake relationship now.
