I'm in the market for a new vehicle and am hoping to find out which companies (specifically interested in Toyota, Chevy and Ford) typically have the best incentives and when? Should I hold off now and wait until late December to save money on a brand new 2006?

Begining of the year...that when the dealers are slashing prices to get rid of last years inventory, so they could have more space for the new models.

Between now and December is usually really good. I bought my Chevy at the end of November and got a fantastic deal on it.
Shop around, you will find some good incentives out there

Everyone is different. The best time is after christmas between Dec 26 and the 31st. The dealers must pay the tax at the end of the month and ask about the incentives. If your not comfortable with deal. Dont buy it. Remember your the customer

I believe that the new model year is released in September, so that is usually the best time to get a killer deal on that year's models. If you wait until December, you may be out of luck on the '06.

Hell I dunno. What you should do is tell them a price you are willing to pay. My Dad bought a 2002 Silverado. It listed for 28,500. He drove it out of there paying them 21,500.
