A man is found dead in the desert. It was not a murder. There was no sign of cuts strangling or bullet wounds. H was found face down with no signs of struggle. What happened?

This is what I believed happened:
The man was walking in the hot desert, when all of a sudden he spotted something in the distance that was shimmering. He started to walk faster even though he was so exhausted. He then began to run and realized that it was a lake, he then jumped in the air and dived in the sand head first and broke his neck.... and there you go he's dead. it was a mirage well that's what I think anyway...thanks for the riddle

He was dehydrated and died of exhaustion. Or strange alien creatures dumped his thoroughly examined, lifeless body in the middle of the desert in an effort to hide it from other humans. Alien instrument use on humans is undetectable.

He probably passed out from losing water from his body,you know when you faint or pass out because your body lose water and you don't have water to fill your self up! You know Dehydration!
