Gods is not dead, my friend, he is very much alive.
As far as the Churches wanting money is for the maintenance of the church and the money they have to pay for some of the people that work there and spread the word of the Lord.
It is just like any other establishment, without money you cannot carry on what God has told us to do. We also have tightens that is a percentage of your money you earn you give back to the church. Because if it wasn't for God you would not be blessed.

GOD IS ALIVE !!! The Church values you and is still trying to teach you that God Lives. How long it will take only God knows and the Church needs good members like you to support the daily necessities in maintaining a church. So you are a blessing to any church and I know for sure in your Heart, You Love God and know that He has blest you, many times. God Loves you. Take care and may God continue to bless you and yours, Always !!!

God isn't dead! God is all around us. Jesus is in heaven where he is sprucing up the place. The holy spirit is loitering and doing his thing and the church needs the money to do the work and maintain the oeprating budget and pay the ministers! God commands us to give to HIM through the church. the church simply is able to pay the bills and use the money for the missions. my church, no matter its financial state, ALWAYS dividddes its money in half. half goes to misssions and half to the operating budget. They have that much faith in the people and that much faith in God.

god is not dead. he was not born - so as he was not in life - he can't die...
it is just imaginary idea of people. they establish an organization called "religion" to gain power and money.
so it is the history of all religions.
and the church want money - as other organization want... otherwise they will be not survive!!!
and the money - just for themselfs. not the lower "clerks" - to the "high" of course. and you know who thet are - or shall i mention them???!!!

Rib Tip,
Actually I prefer ribeye.

If He is dead, then no one should give their money to Him. But if He is not dead, then you are wrong about Him being dead. Start there, and worry about the money later!
