If you look at the can it should tell you on the label, but black beans are really a "good" carb because they are full of fiber and protein. If you're trying to lose weight---they are a GREAT thing to throw on salads--and even eat alone with some italian dressing as a snack. Just watch how much you're eating---they are higher in calories so don't eat the whole can in one sitting! A little will go a long way in filling you up. I lost 40 lbs. and ate some kind of beans almost every day (my poor husband! LOL)
