I'd say 40/40/20. 40 percent my fellow Christians, 40 percent atheists/agnostics/ and 20 percent Muslims.

First, steering clear of the religious/political agenda that some may find interesting, I would like to opt for a more philo-theological understanding of the difference between proselytizing and evangelization. Consider this difference in a pure sense, not as being related of any group of people out there, but as of two different ideas, different meanings in a pure sense.

By asking and answering who's proselytizing the most, are we proselytizing by association, instead of evangelizing through example of our everyday Christian lives?

Peace also be with you,

Peter.

Definitely the Christians...

They'll say that this or that religion is wrong, wrong, wrong and they are right. If you correct them and admonish them with facts, they brand you as sinners, heretics, terrorists and all non-Christians will go to hell. They don't respect anyone's religious convictions or right to worship God in whatever way other than theirs. Most of the Q's by Christians twist and pervert the belief system of others and yet they are blind as to their own bloody past and the blood of non-Chrisitans shed by their pioneers and forefathers.

Atheists deny or totally reject the existense of a supreme deity and rely on logic and reasoning. Even if I don't agree with that (because I am a Muslim) I do respect atheists because they don't impose their type on thinking on anyone. They respond to the Q and leave it at that. Although some of them do tend to insult others but they are few.

My fellow Muslims, as fas as I have observed here, have only defended our faith. Very few, if ever, have initiated hostilities which are equivalent to the Christians' "cyber-harassment" of the people here. We have to constantly defend ourseleves from most of the Christian bigots and hypocrites and yet they have not been personally or directly attacked by any Muslim.

Agnostics claim they need proof before they believe in something. I'm cool with that. Although, some agnostics' answers here have a total bias and prejudice towards a religion. I thought they were suppose to be very objective since they rely on complete proof, details or data and not just pieces of data or factoids before they believe or disbelieve?

As for the others, I have observed no one claiming to be an actual buddhist, shinto, taoist, hindu, wiccan or pagan who asked or commented anything derogatory about anyone's beliefs. They may not have a supreme deity but they do respect others beliefs and most of them are good people. My respect goes to them.

Peace to all of you.

It's a toss up between Christians and Atheists, with muslims occasionally popping up and spamming for a while.

Ultimately, no one's convincing anyone else, we all have our chosen methods of defeating everyone else's viewpoint. The Christians say atheists need faith, the atheists say the christians need an education, and the muslims say we both need to accept Allah or they'll blow us up, or spam us some more at the very least.

I like the way the buddhists and pagans quietly go about their business as if the huge war wasn't going on.

From what I can see, it's the Mormons who are proselytizing the most, with Jehovah's Witnesses running a close second.

It is the same one that has a little group of friends. They also have on their 360 page that their mission is to correct people of false beliefs through logic and science, even if they actually prefer petulant humor and ridicule. Hopes of "deconverting" people is also a reason given when asked why they would be in R&S in the first place.

I've seen many question from Christians to Christians (e.g. advice, prayer, information). I've yet to see a post on atheism to atheists for anything similar. In fact, many stress they have nothing in common other than disbelief. Their questions are always an attempt to bait others.

Atheists post the most response-provoking questions. But Christians give the most defensive answers.

Those darn Hindu's!!!

LOL just kidding, I feel like there is no one group that spends more time trying to convince others, I see it more as individuals. There are certain people who frequent this board who need to relax a bit and understand there is no convincing online.

It's those Buddhists, always stirring up trouble...

Just kidding.

Honestly, when it comes to the Two That Shall Not Be Named, I have to agree with other posters--it's about neck and neck. There are good folks from each just trying to have questions answered here...and plenty just stirring up trouble.

It seems to be a toss up between the atheists and Christians.

Not the real Christians, They pretty much mind their own business and leave people alone.

I'm talking about the fake Christians who see them selves as the chose people.

They and the atheists have far more similarities than they have differences. Both of them are fear based rather than love based in their thinking.

Love and blessings
