Tell him thanks and that it was very flattering that he cared to look for you... if you think he's sexy too then might as well say so.
I was in a similar situation and e-mailed someone I found online after seeing her in person a few months earlier, and I felt really special when she responded the next day. I was worried about looking desperate myself because I had went to an effort to find her, but since she responded quickly instead of waiting a few days, it let me know that I'm special and she doesn't want me to worry about it, and she wants me to feel comfortable and everything.
