I'm going through the exact same thing. Give it time first of all. It takes some getting used to. Focus on yourself. I've gone though many break-ups and I am SO greatful that I didn't get back with the ones that I thought I really wanted to get back with. Time really does heal all wounds. Your prince charming might be around the corner!)

You have to remember why you are exes in the first place. Most people want to go back because they are comfortable being with someone they know, but the same old problems are there. I say move on and get to know someone else.

every couple is different, every individual is different
From my learning experiences and deep contemplation and observation, have lots of patience BUT get working on it as soon as possible !!! and have faith, never give up until you get it back
(just make sure you want it back though). It might take days, weeks, months,... you'll have to keep contact, have patience, and keep on with it.... oh, and things may not be the same as before, you've both gone through things that your relationship hasn't gone through before, You'll both have learned lessons, become wiser, braver, etc... it won't be exactly the same again. It may be better, it may be more challenging, it may be more mature, it may be more deep and loving...oh, and just in case, he might have gone with another mate, but even if that may seem permanent, it may just as well be temporary, regardless of current appearance of things...oh, and very important, just don't be possessive or demanding, that could drive him away really hard...wish we could chat, exchange stories, experiences, advice...my exgirlfriend did all the right things, then 99% on the way to getting me back, she totally gave up... I saw she so almost had me back totally

You don't.
Now, move on.
If you truly feel that you "need" him, then it is time for you
to look in the mirror and see what it is inside yourself
that you are lacking and become the person that you are
meant to be. Then, the right man will come to you, not out of
need, but out of love.

He's your Ex for a reason, myself i'd chalk it up and move on, but if you need his money that bad then undo what ever made him your Ex, regardless who was at fault, which shouldn't be in any relationship.

If you broke up with him....you have to give him a reason to want to be back with you cause chances are he probably felt crappy about it. If it was a mutual dicision id just give him a call to see how he is and ask if he wants to go out for lunch to catch up.

First off girl.. you never NEED someone that doesnt need you back.
Second off... it wont work if he doesnt feel the same way... so your best bet is to talk to him and find out how he feels... and then take it from there.
