we recycle because we want to save materials.
if we send trash to other planets, there will be a whole bunch of trash for the next thousands of years

Also, you'd be sending away valuable materials. Trash may not seem valuable...but it does contain a lot of water and organic matter which is important to the ecosystem.

Our earth is limited in resources. Without recycling, our resources would come to an end in a short amount of time.

Recycling is good. It shows that we actually care about the environment... that we are slowly going away from the mentality: after me the "Sintflut".

because everything we recicle is cleanes and melted. then they make other things out of it.
