OK RELAX.....first it's not your skin that is wrong. It's most likely the water. A lot of cities use excess amounts of chlorine if its lake or well water, and a special non-chlorine additive if it's river water. Call the city's treatment plant and see what they use.

Next, you need to consult a local water softener company and see if they can remove the offending chemical, or at least reduce it substantially until your skin acclimates to it (if it ever does)......Since you bathe in it and you react to it, the softener company is your OVERALL best bet on resolving this problem.

Now for more information on what's triggering this response you can consider getting the water treatment list to your doctor and having one of the allergy-reaction tests done, if he's not capable of administering the test then head directly to a dermatologist with the same info......

Sounds like an allergy to me.Go find a Doctor and find out.Be careful drinking it too it may cause tummy upset,it did me when I moved from small town to big city.My skin eventually stopped acting up and I switched to bottled and filtered water for drinking.(I had no insurance)but if I had I would have went and I think you should too.Have you thought about the soap you are using?

It sounds like an alergic reaction to something in your tap water. Some cities treat their water with chlorine and/or add flouride to the water. You might want to try installing a water filtration system and see if it helps.
