My grandma's! here's how:
2 cups small elbow macaroni - boil in salted water until almost done, drain and rinse in cold water.
1 1/2 cups milk
3 Tblsp butter or marg
3 Tblsp flour
1tsp salt
1 Tblsp mustard
melt butter in saucpan, stir in flour. Slowly add milk stirring until smooth. If it gets lumpy, beat it with a wire whisk. Add salt and mustard, bring to a boil while stirring. It will get thick. Add
2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, grated
turn off the heat, stir until cheese is melted, add to the rinsed noodles, let stand an hour or two (two is better). Sprinkle top with more grated cheese, bake at 350 for 1/2 hour or until bubbly. EAT!

Kraft Mac & Cheese is good for that comfort food feeling.

I <3 Stoffer's Macaroni and cheese...its in the frozen section...I am hooked. I also love Kraft mac and cheese. I <3 Velveeta. and you cant beat home made

Kraft Mac and Cheeze:original, but they don't make it anymore. It's now "the cheesiest". It's alright. I prefer elbow macaroni over shell. To each his own... in other words... what ever your preference.
