i married a shorter man.... it never bothered me or him. he likes the fact that i'm taller he said it was like being married to a model....i'm 5'10 he's 5'6

One time when doing a Cosmo quiz in our early twenties my best friend and I came to a question about whether we would ever date a man shorter than we are.
We burst out laughing as I am 5 foot even and she is 4'10"--who would be shorter than us? 4th graders?
I would be comfortable dating anyone that was funny, kind and intelligent--but since I've been married for 19 years I've cut way back on dating.....kidding of course.

I don't have anything against smaller statue people but I would feel funny dating a shorter man. My girlfriends are shorter than me and I feel way to tall when I am standing next to them. Feels a little awkward.

I prefer to date a man who is at least 5 inches or more taller than me (I'm 5'4) because I wear heels 99% of the time. But, if I meet and absolutely wonderful man who is shorter, I'd date him.

Married also but even if I was single I wouldn't date a man shorter than myself but then again I'm only 5'3" oh and don't forget the 1/2" so really I'm 5'3 1/2" lol

Yup! I have! I'm also 5-8 and I've dated a few guys who were a bit shorter.... the shortest being 5-5.

No. I'm five feet tall. The guy would have to be like 10 years old, or have a medical condition to be shorter than me.

I personally dont like men that are shorter than me. If I am wearing heels then things are different but just plain shorter than me HELL NO

Absolutely! I think that shorter men who make an issue out of height, i.e. the man who TOLD me I had to wear flats when I was out with him-apparently he didn't like my dress heels-are the ones with a problem. We wouldn't have said "yes" if it was an issue for us.
(I DID NOT go out with him again-the evening consisted of his telling me what I could and could not do and/or wear. I divorced one of those guys.)
