I am not overweight--in fact, seems I can eat whatever and not get fat, but I would like to eat healthy for the sake of my family, at least, and so that I feel better. But I'm having trouble drumming up the willpower to stay away from sweets! Any tips?

Allow yourself to have a little bit and gradually cut back. Don't think about junk food too much and make sure to excersize. Excersizing is the best thing. It helps you think of food as fuel and helps you make better choices. GOOD LUCK

If you are not overweight and you have normal blood pressure, I say, eat what you want. For me, I used to eat fast food all the time until I got High Blood Pressure. Since then, I have changed my diet to healthy things. The sweets can one day lead to diabetes so be careful. Everything in moderation and somethings (like Big Macs) not at all!

Every time you want to eat fast food or something, just open up the burger and squeeze it. The grease pouring out of the meat should do the trick ;)

If you're just talking about snack foods, just think of the size of whatever you're eating and the size of your stomach. If your stomach is app. the size of two fists, imagine how disgusting it must be to have all that stuff sloshing around in there!

Basically, I just try to disgust myself. =)

sure. Get bitrx. Mix half that and half water. Next junk food you eat, use a spraybottle to mist that crap on your junk. Then eat all you want. Repeat. Every time. Within a year you'll never eat that crap again (unless your memory sucks.)

Well.....I would not buy junk food.
Or I would just eat healthy things that taste good as well like...
Apples and Caramel, Crackers, Bagels,and if you love junk food a lot you could have like peanuts with chocolate!

Stop buying it......I was a junk food junkie for awhile, and I would buy it "for the kids"..... When me and the junk food were all alone, it would call out to me (eat me, eat me) and I would, every time. So, I stopped buying it, and therefore quit eating it. :D

find a sub.. like sweet fruits, or go to a health store they have sweets that are good for you{they are kinda xpensiv tho} i take vitamins one a day stuff and it helps to counteract my sweet tooth but if it's really a prob my friend tried hipno therapy and is doing great

Get it out of the house, and you won't eat it. Don't carry small bills cash, it just makes it tempting to hit the vending machine.
