That was hard to read...and possibly even harder to write? (I think you have to read English well to catch ALL the words)

In order for the brain to recognize words, by narrowing down the choices, your eyes look at the first letter, then the last letter, then the middle. This eye pattern has been documented in studies, and it makes sense that this speeds up word recognition by process of elimination rather than perceiving the letters in order.

I find my brain does that even when the letters arent mess up....If I am reading fast i will miss read a word because I my mind puts in a word that has the same first and last letters but isnt the word i am looking at....so i end up having to read it again to get the right word....it kind of suck sometimes....but it is cool to know how the brain works....

I love it!!! I have never heard of this before, and I could read it no problem. In fact,I was half-way through before I even noticed. To think we were told to put all the letters in the right order all those years. My typing speed could have been a lot better.HEE HEE

This is true. Because I was able to read this without a problem. Or could this mean I'm just smart.

I believe that it has something to do with how your mind categorizes words and language in order to to maximize your memory.
