Check with McGraw Hill publishing co. They have piping design handbook.

however at work ASME codes is the bible. All designs must meet ASME codes and guidelines.

This book is for USA. I do not know it for India.

Piping hand book by Mohinder Nayyar is an excellent reference but will cost you other body parts. Crane Technical Paper 410 and Cameron Hydraulic Data Book deal with pipe sizing and are much cheaper relatively. Check the following links,
