You're damn right we do! People have no right to intrude like that. Why is it that they guys get asked about school and work and stuff like that there, and we girls are stuck with "So are you seeing anyone special?" Just (kindly) tell whoever's asking you why you're single to mind their own business. If you have a significant other that you want to talk about, you'll do it on your own terms.

i am not sure how to answer that but i'll try hope it helps most people in society think that a person strives for a relationship and most do as for it identifying you a relationship should never do that u need to be urself. and not worry about others thoughts. if u enjoy being single thats all up to u on my end i have been married and devorced and on my way to married again. i like having someone not that i have to have someone but i like the closeness of another person and the affection i get from a long term relationship of course i have never been into one nighters and i do have a high expectation of a woman that i want to be with but i do not expect them to change for me and hope they are just naturally the woman i want

Amen, sister and the same for some guys. I don't need a woman in my life to define me. I'm fine being the lone ranger. I was married (technically still am) since 1975 and never felt that it mattered...and it doesn't! If god had intended for us to have someone else attached to us, we'd all be born that way.

That's true.
I guess it gives a person in a relationship something to talk about. I don't ask my single friends why they're single unless they are talking about how bad they want a boyfriend.
That questions seems personal to me!
