Yes. All are sinners. Even the "greatest person ever" would be a sinner. A sinner cannot save him/herself. We must go through Jesus, who was without sin.

Straight answer?
YES...
the Bible is clear in what you must do to not go to Hell.
See, this is what puzzles me. why do people run around saying that God or Christians are evil or hateful when we stick to the line, We do not falter or change beliefs or opinions like we do underwear. is that not a desired quality? Honesty. there has to be a point when you say, enough. as a Parent, I do that with my kids., if you are a parent do you let your kids run around disrespectful and unparented? Same thing my friend. God has to draw a line when he has had enough of this evil wicked world who is self serving and self fullfilling and restore what he intended. Those who follow him freely are rewarded. Those who don't are punished. The Truth and the way are presented to all for you to choose,
So
Make your choice....

Better believe it baby, because greatness has nothing to do with goodness. One cannot be good without the Spirit of God, which lost people don't have. On the outside they can look so great, but on the inside and behind closed doors they are as evil as anyone else.

The Lord Jesus said; "If ye will not believe that I am He, ye shall die in your sin." How much plainer and clear could it be?

That's right. No matter how good you are, you can never be good enough to earn your salvation.
