Underwear is the best method, but make sure you send him or her to the potty every 30 min to an hour if your at home, if your out of the house pack extra clothes and a pull-up to be on the safe side and for bed time you can put him or her on a pull-up.

Honestly, Im not really sure because im fifteen. But I have a sister that is turning two this month and she has yet to be potty trained. Even though my family has tried two or three times my sister just doesnt seem to want to go. So I asked my mother what she was going to do about it and she said that she would wait until my sister got ready. So maybe its best if you wait until your baby is ready. Because if you force him/ her it might not work as well.

It's best to let them run around naked for a few weeks, of course in your home (and try to stay around home for the duration, as much as you can). They can't help but notice their bodily functions this way, and they get it pretty quickly that they need to go on their potty. Then you can gradually begin to use regular underwear, once they get the hang of it. It worked for us--I have a potty-trained two-year-old boy.

The best method would be for you to put a little potty where your kids interact.Dont let them wear dippers! And watch your kids for the face they make when they have to go and when you see it put them on the potty. They will start to learn by themslves knowing thats where they have to go!

My younger siblings both had different watys to learn. for my sister, we had to get one of the babydolls that pee and show her how 'cool' it was. My brother got a treat every time he used the potty

when i was little my mom and dad gave me my own potty thing. i got to sit in it and use the bathroom myself. they dumped in out. if your child wants to be a big kid tell him that if you use the potty (that you bought for toddlers) he's a big boy. that usually works pretty well.

it is ussually to let your kid go in their pants, but tell them if they feel like they have to go to the bathroom(show them the toilet)then go here (then show them how to do it.)eventually, they will start disliking going in their pants, and they will start to go in the toilet like you showed them.and tell them that it would make you VERY happy if they did that.thats how my friend trained her kid!but if they like going in their pants, then your on your own.good luck!
