Millions of Americans suffer every year from depression. Sometimes even suicide attempts. Woman are more likely to attempt suicide but men are likely to die. I suffer from depression greatly and am on medications and probably will be for the rest of my life. The problem with meds is they quit working after a while.

May I say that anybody who has lived with the hell that depression brings, SUFFERS? There are too many of us. Some reach out for help, while others stay in bed every day not knowing how to escape the pain.

Right here. Dysthemia. Apparently, a third of the world's population has it and doesn't even know. As you can see, it's a mild, chronic depression, but it still sucks to have it.

I am recovering from a long, deep depression. If you are not just curious and are feeling depressed yourself, please get help before it goes too far. I am still trying to recover and it is very hard.
Good luck to you.
