Faith can be very difficult if you are always trying to explain everything and want an scientific explanation. Faith is easy when you look at it this way, I believe that this life not the only life.

Think about it if you really believe that this world with all it's many, many problems it the best you'll ever experience, no wonder so many people are depressed and listless!!

Faith in God and Jesus Christ means that I know no matter how low things seem, or how many people get away with horrible things and never seems to be any justice, there is a perfect paradise awaiting me after this life.

The teachings of Christ instruct me to a good person, and help NOT judge others, be a
good citizen, and be an example of what being a Christian is about.

To address so of the other responses, God did NOT put violence, heartache, and cancer into the world. We as humans have a free will, we can choose to help or hurt our fellow human beings. As far as cancer and many diseases, the way we pollute our bodies and the environment with chemicals. pesticides, etc. is one of the biggest causes of the skyrocketing rates of disease.

Think about this if I'm right then after this life I'll have paradise, if I'm wrong then one day I die and that's all she wrote. Either way I've lived a productive, happy, life where I
had friends and family, loved and was loved. So where did I lose?

Don't know about religious people. I try not to know too many. But for a Christian, yes it's hard! To live in an immoral world where the rule rather than the exception is sin, hatred, immorality, sexual suggestiveness, women dressing provocatively, and everyone having a vanity problem is sometimes sad, sometimes discouraging, and always pitiable. The average person is bombarded by evil daily! But even that serves to fulfill God's prophecies, so we praise Him, assemble ourselves in His glorious name, and await His return. How about you evil people? Is it hard for you? I should think not, since the world is tailor-made for you.

portion of why you sense depressed and unsightly (or perhaps possibly your napping issues) is with the aid of your hormones. i assume, being 13, you're dealing with puberty. Your mind chemistry is all twisted up and could be for a lengthy time period. Puberty will make you sense issues and picture concepts that down authentic suck. basically shop declaring to your self that what's taking position will bypass as you advance out of it. As for faith, that's a personal determination. i will't grant evidence proving or disproving a God. that's some thing you may want to come to a call for your self.

No, I have no problem with faith, its not hard at all. The Bible says that it is impossible to please God without faith, that's not my struggle. Whats hard is staying on this righteous path, you go through trails in tribulations and sometimes it feels that there's no way out and that God has forgotten you. But he puts those mountains in your way to see if you will praise him in the good and in the bad. I always try to remember that he wont put more on me than I can handle and he says that he'll never leave me or forsake me, and that helps me to make it through.

I don't doubt my faith.

I struggle daily trying not to sin. It's hard not to be tempted by the goings on in our world. People can be annoying, accidents/inconveniences happen, mistakes are made - - life holds a lot of these.

I have to give these things (frustrations) to Jesus because he died for everyone sins, including mine.

I try to take one incidence at a time.

No, faith is not a struggle. Attempting to always do things according to God's instruction is sometimes difficult. I am human.

Sometimes more than others. I've been a Christian for over ten years, and, as my faith grows, it's tested. Sometimes I'm "attacked," and sometimes it's just God testing me. Having the faith that God exists, and that Jesus Christ died for my sins is not at all hard, though.

Jesus says, Come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me, for I am meek and lowly of heart, and ye shall find rest unto your souls, for my yoke is easy and my burden is light.

Martha was complaining to Jesus that her sister Mary wasn't doing her share of the work, but was instead sitting at Jesus' feet, listening to him teach. Jesus replied, Martha, Martha, you are concerned and worried about so many things. But only one thing is needful. Mary has chosen the better part.

Mary was listening to Jesus because he was IN HER HOUSE while Martha thought it more important to impress everyone with a huge church supper in Jesus' honor, I guess. But Mary got off the ground after Jesus stopped talking, and got about the business of doing what He told her to do. And whatever she had to do, was easy, because He told her He'd be right there beside her while she was doing it, even going through martyrdom.

When the going gets rough is when we try to do it our own way, without God's help, out of His will....kind of like me being in YA answers still.....

Sara, I could sit and answer your questions all day long, because I love writing, especially about Jesus, and your questions are quite thought-provoking! But alas, I have other things I am called to do. I have answered a couple of questions you asked AFTER this one, but this last one (I hope) will be my last one to answer for awhile. I pray that, eventually (or even SOON) you will have heard all the answers you need to start enjoying Christ's love. Rest assured, though, to keep growing in Him, you will have questions after that as well!

God Bless, miraclewhip aka InsideOut.

Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Faith is the substance of things hope for and the evidence of things not seen. Without faith it is impossible to please God.
