No, it is just a perception. In the 80's BMWs were the favoured car of yuppies who were arrogant, aggressive, go getters and so the reputaiton may have had some grounds, but these days everyone and anyone drives BMWs and I think it is just down to perception.

As for all the commnets about Black people. WTF?

I see racism is in full swing on Yahoo answers.

we could positioned it this form. One is there are diverse BMWs obtainable and with maximum of BMWs obtainable agressive BMW drivers stick obtainable. 2...the aggressive BMW drivers would not even attempt the strikes we do with effortless autos... Its volatile.. BMW ordinarily makes greater overall performance autos than very practically the different effortless make, and because BMW outsells different even greater overall performance makes. Making BMW a "effortless" automobile becasue of the kind of BMWs on the line..

My gosh - I drove a BMW 318i and I am neither black nor a drug dealer. My goodness - the raw ignorance of these answers.

I drove my BMW fast BUT I never drove arrogantly or aggressively. Yes, in some communities, some people drive BMW's with nice rims and nice accessories - that doesn't make them drug dealers. Many black people are proud to own BMW's due to their status and prestige - not because they are arrogant or aggressive. If I were to own another BMW, I would be proud of my accomplishments and would never act arrogant or aggressive towards anyone. If it helps, I was dragged out of my BMW by police due to domestic issues....

Of course, BMW drivers have a reputation, and I've seen them up to no good on the public highway. The most common comlain by far is not suing indicators.

However, I think there's worse...

There's Bus drivers, who seldom indicate, never use their mirrors and cut you up. Bad enough for car drivers, but what if you'rre on a motorbike?

And one rather underestimated danger that is the Nissan Sunny driver, or in any other words, any middle-aged/old Asian woman in a small Japanese family car. While I don't inteend to be recist (Got that, Guaridianistas?), they seem to be half-dead, and utter unaware of everything around them. Their car control isn't exactly up to scratch either.

Yes most of them are like that, they have progressed from their Volvo's.
Personally I think the worst driving comes from Audi drivers.

We all know what BMW stands for Black Mans Wheels, so they must all be drug dealers!
And the small steering wheel is so they can drive with hand cuffs on!
They are also known as Bavarain Murder Weapons lol

No, I think the mini-vaners are worse. However, I do see more an more blacks driving BMWs. I guess being a street pharmacist really pays off.
