A janitor at McDonald's could have a beautiful relationship with Jesus Christ. A CEO making fifty million dollars a year could have no relationship with God at all.
The bible says....better the little the righteous have, than the wealth of many wicked. Better is one day in His house, than thousands elsewhere. I agree whole-heartedly!

Be the best janitor that you can be. It may be the best means of opportunity for witnessing for Christ that you could have. It is also
a means to teach you humility and the first step in the ladder of
success. Be content in your situation doesn't mean staying in that
situation. It means having an attitude of surrending your mind and emotions to the situation and to what you are doing.

Absolutely, but at the same time keep going for more. It seems a paradox, but be content at the same time as you press in to God's will for your life. Do your very best at everything you put your hand to. If you continue to be faithful in the small things, and do it as if you were 'cleaning for God', so to speak, you can't help but to be blessed and promoted.

Whatever state you are in you are to be content, Your state is apt to change on a regular basis as do jobs. Therefore all He means is that you again are to be happy wherever you are at the moment.

You have to listen to what he doesn't say. That it is not a sin to try to better yourself, but in the meantime, enjoy life.
