If god put adam and eve upon the earth and said unto them to be fruitful and replenish the earth who populated the earth before them and why are they not mentioned anywhere in the bible.For the word replenish means to plenish again. and on what day did all this happen?

Still to replenish would mean to re populate or so it seems to me. as the prefix almost always means to redo an act

Basically, to make more people besides themselves. The Hebrew word for "replenish" is mala, which means: to fill or be full of.
God was just saying to fill the earth. Replenish probably isn't the best English translation.

"Replenish" is from the Latin: "re" (again) + "plenere" (to fill). Did you actually look this verse up? Most translations just say "fill".
If you subscribe literally to the Genesis story, there is nothing to RE-plenish. But as has been said, "plenish" is not a word. If you don't take it literally, there's no problem because it's just a fable. If you are trying to have it both ways, you would have to assume that something dramatic happened to the people who "came before". But that contradicts the Bible story and makes no sense to those who don't believe in a literal Adam and Eve because nothing happened to the continuous development of humanity.
It's hard to make an argument on the basis of one word, probably misquoted. You might want to ask what it says in the untranslated Hebrew.

I think you may need to check your Webster Dictionary, there is no word "plenish". When the Bible was first translated into English in the 1600's, the word replenish meant a first time filling. Words have a tendency to change meanings over the years. I'm old enough to remember when "cool" meant an absence of heat.
