Without knowing first hand how serious you friend is hurt I cannot give you an exact answer. BUT I will say that FROM WHAT you have said here she WILL be alright. BUT broken bones ARE serious injuries and her system could be reacting to the injuries. UNLESS she has a bad heart or something else you did not mention I think she will be fine. But this will take some time. You being there for her will help her more than you think. So be there for her and tell her I wish her the very best of luck in a quick as well as FULL recovery.

I don't think she will die. Relax. She will be fine. Slow heart beat is just the body's way of "conserving" blood so to speak.

it can be caused by trauma/and shock. shes in the best place--the hospital. there are several drugs that can be administered to stabilize her heartrate so dont freak out !! they will do al they can ok! ---good luck always
