Of course I read the answer, that's how I came to the conclusion that most of it's brain dead gibberish, notice I didn't say all of it was.

The rules simply read "If you think an answer is good, click thumbs-up in the action bar below the answer. If you think an answer is not good, click thumbs-down." Use your own judgment. I certainly don't always give responses by Christians a thumbs-down, nor do I give all responses by non-theists like myself a thumbs-up. If the answer actually answers the posed question in a way that impresses me (whether I agree or not), I acknowledge it with a thumbs-up. If I find it particularly offensive, I give it a thumbs-down.

Hmm. See, I judge an answer on a) whether it answers the question or not and b) how well and how accurately it answers said question. So no, because people can do these things regardless of religion.

Also I find it incredibly unfair and prejudiced to just dismiss an entire group of people because of their religion. By doing so, you're no better than people of that group who do the same thing to you. Look at individuals, not labels.

And no, I am not a Christian. Not close.

If an answer were gibberish, then yes. But if you read through what some of us have to say, and actually look and see if it makes sense, then maybe you wouldn't do that to all our answers.

I only give thumbs up because the thumbs down hides the answer and makes the page look funky. Besides, the thumbs down doesn't really do anything to the answer.

It's too bad there are those who wish to use this forum only to promote bigotry. I welcome anyone to express an opinion in any civilized manner. A thumb's down usually means they at least read it. But as I have said many times people only resort to insults when they have run out of intelligent criticism or debate.

If it's only you, I don't think it will be wrong. You already have judged them so why waste your time and muscles putting your thumbs down? You're wasting your time finding ways to upset yourself by giving thumbs down to all their answers and that's what is wrong. Spend your time to something more important in your life where you can make a thumbs up.
