I would like to join the Air Force and Im doing it step by step and I'm one step away in taking the test but I have no idea what job I should take and I'm afraid that I might regret it. I want to become a police officer when I get out of the Air Force so whats the best job for me?

well i reccomend taking a law enforcement job in the airforce if that's what you are plannig to do when you get out of there for the rest of your life

If you want to join the Air Force and you want to become a cop after you get out, then your best option would be to aim for Security Forces. The USAF Security Forces are the same as cops they have essentially the same training. You need to take the ASVAB first to see what your scores are in each area though. For that job they will look at your general aptitude, the minimum score for Security Forces in the General Aptitude is 41. I would really aim for higher because then you have a better chance at it. This would be the best job if you want to be a cop.

Not only can you pick the job you want (as long as you score high enough on your exams) I would recommend it. If you are interested in law enforcement join SECURITY POLICE, or combat arms (they are the ones that teach everyone including the SP's how to shoot ALL of the different weapons.

It may not be possible for you to pick your own Job in the service. If you intend to be a policeman, become and MP if you can. (Military Police)

It all depends on what your intrests and strengths are, your recruiter sould've already asked you what sort of jobs may intrest you and sent you out the relevent material, but if secpol is what you want then go for it.

well... the airforce doesnt really have alot of good positions... chances are u are going to be a MP if u are in teh airforce.. my cousin is. his friend also was turned into 1 and a few people ive talked to said they were put as MP's... being a MP in teh airforce sucks tho

I would suggest Security Police.. Also look at Pararescue.. very tough but very rewarding...

i think you should become a pilot because pilots have wonderful job to have and you can go around the world and see fabulous places
