after....thas when ur muslces are weak and beggin for protien and since ther weak, easier to digest it.
think about it like dis if u still don get it: when is coke most effective?
a) when ur thirst? or
b) when ur not thirsty!

Immediately after...I take a master's swim class and the swim coach recommends to us and her student athletes to eat a healthy protein as soon as we leave the pool. She suggests a protein bar or even yogurt.

Before. You should NOT eat anything for at least 30 minutes after you complete your workout.
