I've thought it for many weeks now, and yes! I want to be muslim. I think that Islam's aproach to life is the one I like and I want to follow it. Are there any other things that I should know? I know about the 5 pillars. But what exactly mustn't muslims do? I know that they cannot eat pork or drink alcohol. But I want to know everything.

First i wanna tell u that i don't know u! But i think it's really great of u to choose what u feel could make ur life better.I'm Muslim and i'm proud of it, Islam isn't like how people in the US and Europe think. Many people get a totally wrong picture about it. We aren't terrorists like how the world calls us (or claims we r), we hate terrorism and whatever could cause to shedding innocent blood. Every religion, every place got the bad and the good, u just can't judge a whole race for just a group that doesn't even know what Islam means. The word Islam itself is coming from "Salam" which means "Peace", our salut is "Salamu Allaykum" or "Peace Be Upon You". We just live a normal life like anyone else, we hate war, like who would ever love destruction? who would love to lose the people he loves in war? Nobody. Islam is a religion of peace and tolerence. I know that's not the point now but i really wanted to make this clear for everyone. As for what u should do and what u shouldn't do, u mentioned the five prayers -and they won't take much time of ur day believe me- It's a way to thank God for everything we r and everything we have, many people tends to take things for granted but really everyone has got a gift! So we all should thank God for it. Another thing now, since we r in Ramadan, all Muslims must fast till Evening "Maghreb" prayer. Ramadan lasts for a whole month, and fasting in it is a way to feel how less fortunate people (or in another word poor) goes through when they can't even afford a piece of bread. In Islamic countries, and here in Egypt (where i'm from) everyone helps the other, the rich helps the poor and charity is everywhere. It's a great atmosphere, filled with love and peace. There r many things to say really, i hope u can contact me somehow, maybe we could be friends too, i would really love to help in this. I really respect ur choice, and i would tell u Welcome to Islam. It's so good to know that people like u still exist. Don't make any pressures change ur mind, do what u feel and God be with you.

There are several good websites that you can search through in order to gain more knowlegde.
Example:
www.islamicity.com
www.islamway.com
If you could get a hold of a mosque near you, that would even be better.

There are several things which Muslims are not allowed. We're not allowed to eat dead meat, an animal who has been sacrified to other than Allah, and pork. We're not allowed to drink alcohol, use drugs, or smoke. Muslim men are forbidden to wear silk and gold.
Because Islam is a way of life, you'll find that there are rules for every part of your daily life. We have an excellent example in our Prophet (SAWS) and his companions. We also have the glorious Quran from which comes our laws.

That's great!

Focus on what you SHOULD & CAN do (e.g. praying). Changing your way of life won't be easy at first, so surround yourself with as many practicing Muslim friends who will support you.

No alcohol, no pork, no drugs, no gambling, no casual "dates". These are just the basics.

Here's a good website for referance - http://www.islamonline.net/english/index.shtml

Good luck :)

No body can do Islam 100% and I never saw any Muslim doing 100% Islam even Muhammad himself did not do Islam 100%, so it should not be expected from you to do that.

If you don't know exactly what Muslims do, then you are not ready.
Muslims have no positive approach to life...they believe in Killing. Allah is aGod of death.
Now go do the right thing!

OK, that's fine.

Now for baptism. you have to get a coat fill it full of big crackers. Then stand in the middle of a big paddock, well away from everybody, & flick the trigger.

Simple, that's all you have to know.
