Now American & British troops have plummeted Iraq into civil war. Should coalition troops be withdrawn? More Iraqi civilians have been killed since the 'invasion', than they ever did under Saddams regime.

Once again history has repeated itself as far as witnessing yet another catastrophic American Military fcuk-up.
The whole Iraq issue has been a complete farce to date, and will continue to be for many years to come.
I'd of thought the yanks would of learnt some lessons from there last major fcuk-up in Vietnam, but no, they think they know best and jump into a situation blindfold. It doesn't help having a bloody-minded buffoon for a President, hell bent on instigating the third World war.
Now Iraq is in a worse state than ever before, even under Saddams tyrannical dictatorship, there was less bloodshed and torture.
As for a solution? Unfortunately thanks to Bush, there's no quick fix solution, it's a bloody mess and will take years to bring about peace to a country in ruins.-Thank-you George!!

A difficult question to answer as it is a sensitive issue.

Yes more civilians are killed in Iraq by their fellow Iraqi's.

We did not go to war for the oil, we went to war to prevent Saddam using weapons of mass distruction (OK they were not found), but the threat was there and he'd said he'd use them.

Regime change and oil being opened up to the markets are benefits of going to war.

You are right we need to secure the region and make it safe for the ordinary people of Iraq.

I did not support the 1991 as a teenager I was opposed to violence of this kind, I probably had the same thoughts then, as the hundreds of thousands of protestors in 2003.

But by 2003 I was able to make a judgemnt based on the evidence available and have been a frim supporter of the war and will support the allied troops and the actions of the allied countries all the time they are in Iraq.

Lets keep up the work to secure Iraq for it's future generations!!!

Absolutely, redeploy those troops outside of Iraq. It must be done carefully, and the Iraqi government must be able to control the Sunni and Shia factions to put an end to the civil war that's taking place there now.

The number in the report that you failed to cite is more like 650,000 since the start of the war. What you further failed to cite is the report actually states that they went door to door to get the numbers, they didn't actually do a body count. Also you fail to cite that 70% of those deaths were caused by terrorists NOT by coalition forces. How can you trust those numbers. There's no way that people lied, huh?

It is so sad your comments will for the most part fall on deaf ears .

I am not sure what game the US is playing at but the cost is too high .All I am sure about is that we the public who fund all of this crap are not being told anything close to the truth - nor do i believe we ever have been told anything close to the truth until at least 50 yrs have past and the people responsible are all conviently dead or so old it would just be wrong to go after them .

I think what disturbs me the most is that the majority of the US people see war as entertainment games fun a football game etc
