NOW I HAVE

Bt Tv with euro football prem matches most weeks this year

Total Cost Now £600

Half way to a Holiday abroad kerching.

Funny thing is i still spend more time on my laptop than watching tv
having said that I personally think you just can,t beat BBC for News, Football, Match of the Day, Radio, and advertising free quality tv, dont let the little compay run by a questionable Australian ruin this fantastic service. The money is better in your pocket than sky,s Not that I have anything against the company and have heard on various threads online that they have something on most poiticians and may have tapped the phones of people in despair.

I am not that young, but having witnessed 56 channels in the u.s.a 40 years ago...(I live in the u.k. and am Enlish just for the judgement) It appears to me four or five good channels are enough. I love i love lucy, but 15 times a day, too much, most of the cable and sky and all the rest of the rubbish are seemed to be shot in garage with sub normal cameraman. I do not watch T>V, because of the fear and the propaganda, although must admit, chan. four can come up with some wonderful docus. apart from that, yes chanells of rubbish to be watched by perople who eat pizzas on a couch, live in a council estate, all work part time or rob. and report me for abuse...because I live in this open prison of the u.k. and five channels are enough , unless you are into sport, which, I am not , but think the sky, thing would be good to sit on a couch and drink carlng and get fat and watch coke sniffing footballers miss play. Watch the Saoudies. and Real Madrid. and I hate football, but i love creme de la creme. x

Television is produced to the cheapest common denominator - i.e., the common IQ of everyone, whereas a e book is written to the highest common denominator

Correct. And I'll tell you something else. The UK is the only country in the world where we are stupid enough to pay subscription fees to watch adverts. Murdoch takes us all for mugs, which we are.

It always used to amuse me how you had to watch adverts for other Sky channels, too.

Face it mate, Television is done, finished.

I agree, the BBC channels are best, but it just takes longer to channel hop. You are always curious as to what is on the other side. And are always rewarded with the same answer.... Sweet FA!!!

To paraphrase Bruce Springstein, 400 channels and nothing on. My advice: turn the radio on and do more than one thing at once.
