Well if God commanded me to be happy the rest of my life, It would be Gods will that I be happy for ever.

Some people's happiness will unfortunately violate other peoples' happiness and there would be sadness instead of happiness to that person. You would have to force yourself to be happy to make it seem like you arent disobeying god. However, since god is all konwing, you're in trouble but really, god made the bad choice of saying "be happy as long as you live. "

You shoudlnt say what if because that is what he wants you to do and that is be happy but it isn't a command it is his hopes for us. He wants all of his kids to be happy
