how many years older do you think someone should date? Im 16 and it may seem young but i always find myself having better conversations with older guys ( 18, 19)...what are your opinions?

Well the reason you have better conversations with guys that are older is because guys mature later in age then girls do. A guy 2-3 years older from your current age is USUALLY at the same mentality, but of course there are ALWAYS exceptions. Just be careful with your age, its cool to talk but I wanted day anyone that is over 18 just because of your age.

when i first read this question i thought it said dating a 3 year old? lol age is just a number but around 16-18 it gets complicated if u know what i mean but i am 25 and broke up with a 31 year old and am not with an 18 year old so go for it and have fun

That may be because girls mature faster than boys...it may also have something to do with your home environment and education. You have to be careful at your age dealing with guys 3-4 years older because they have different expectations than someone your own age and at your experience level (pertaining to dating experience). It really isn't unusual for girls to be attracted to older guys...

Look at this age you are very succeptible to sweet talk, so no it is not that good. Why? Because guys in that age range will want to take advantage of you. Stick to your own age for now. Later on when you have established yourself as an individual, then it is cool.

3 years isnt that much of a difference, at 16 I would say a difference of 5 yrs would be a little too much, but 3 years not a problem.

if you are not over the age of 18, please have the ethics not to date anyone over 18 either. why would you put someone in a position to get charged with rape??? after you hit 18...if you want to date someone 40 years older than you....go for it!!!

I think that is totally ok!!! age is just a number as long as its not sick !!!me and my hubby 10 years difference .
