Can't be done. The human mind automatically attempts to fill in gaps in understanding, even without the resources to do it. (That's where gods and magical thinking come from.) It tends to hold onto familiar, inadequate explanations even when shown better understanding in order to keep the world from seeming more chaotic. (Look what happened to Galileo.) Humanity invented religion out of necessity. The only recourse is to grow out of it, replacing it with less superstitious systems. And too many people refuse to grow up.

It would be a society that praised intelligence, rational thought and the human spirit over all. Human beings should be dedicated to courage, clear thinking, honesty, fairness, and, above all, love of the truth. Faith tends go against these things.

Impossible to say. A whole new history of the planet. Our mindsets wouldn't be capable of answering this question because we wouldn't know how to or have any experience to relate it with.

Anyways religion is a vague term.

We would all still be tribal people's most likely.

Religions are the same as philosophies, only with dieties. If there were no religions, the philosophies would still find reasons to have wars.
