lol....yeah man mph is a USA thing. every other country is on the metric system. and even in the us some states/cities direct thier police to avoid high speed chases because of the number of un-involved people who have died because an idiot is running from the cops at 100mph and the idiot cops are getting off chasing him. Houston cops , when i lived there in the late 90's, were responsible for the deaths of 3 or 4 innocent bystanders in car chases so either Houston or the state of texas decided to abandon a chase after x amount of time and/or once the chase got going at X mph.....

BLUFFMIKE...just so you know Japan is 374,000 square kilometers there is plenty of room to go 180, if you have a capable car.

Not a whole lot of places where you could go 180 Mph in Japan wirhout killing yourself...And Butters, you're wrong...180 Mph would be 288 Kph...One Km is about 1.6 miles. Do the math...I'd say they would lock you up and your car would be history when they caught you. Japanese cops are very serious about their work...
