Ok...who uses Limewire...and do you feel bad using it? be honest? and give any reasons if you want.?

I use limewire and i actually dont mind it. I dont feel bad using it because for years we have been ripped off by cd companies and cd artists because most people would go out and buy a cd for only a few songs. Totally not worth it. 15 - 30 bucks for a few songs is ridiculous. I find downloading and burning your own cds much better cuz you never have to worry about not being able to find a god song, like an old one that no one listens to anymore, cuz your guaranteed at least one person on the P2P server has it. Cant necessarily do that in a cd store! And besides all the music artists today end up trying to have their own clothing line, their own perfume/cologne, sports drinks, tv shows, movies, etc they really dont need the small chump change from cd sales. PLUS AND THIS IS THE BEST REASON, a lot of people still do buy cds! My friend downloads them from the internet when they first come on the radio, then when the cds comes out he buys it. So its not like every downloader is stealing, or pirating, its just a easy way to check out new and old music without paying big bucks to do it!

I use limewire and I love it. Fortunately for me, I use it legally. How? Well, I was dumb enough when I knew less to actually pay to subscribe to limewire. So my downloads are somewhat legal. I don't download so often anyways and I don't download videos or software. But if you know your way on it, it's nice.

Limewire.... tahts pretty slow when you start it off if you don't got cable... it has tons of cons... tons of pop ups and stuff... get bearshare bro it has an average speed and does not have to warm up in order to use and is less complicated then limewire... guilty? if you want to pay for music then yes if not then no lol

I did use it till i found all the spyware and virus in it,now i use ares, and no i do not feel bad for downloading music.They get mad because people download and don't buy music,Well come on why make them richer.I am not rich they are. May be a bad way to look at it but if they would send me some of the money they make.I would stop. And we all know that is not going to happen lol

hey how i know u're not a cop,lol no i don't feel bad its the best program i've ever used,no spyware,no viruses(u only get them if u just click on stuf randomly,be smart ppl u can tell which ones are viruses),and for me it doesn't need to warm up it just goes to the highest speed.Its like thousands of free stuff its like if i offered u a machine that made ipod or psp for free,would u feel bad about that

no i don't use it, because i think artists should get their dues for songs, because they have so many viruses, and because i don't want the RIAA or MPAA hauling me away to court!

So these are my reasons.

Don't take this to mean i like DRM. I HATE DRM!!! It often tempts me to go over to p2p networks (though i won't).

In my opinion, if someone buys a DRM song, deletes it, then downloads it from a p2p network, it's fine, because the artist did get their money, and you got your song.

yeah......i do! i feel unbelievably guilty! i ONLY use it if i can't find the cd in a store near by (that IS the truth!). I hate it when people download a ton of songs that are brand new and easy to buy. i also hate it when people download movies cause they might also be easy to buy. i don't download movies.

well i dont use any p2p sharning network at all , reason i buy all my music /music/ software from the store , why have anti virus and & firewall & anti spyware if your going to use p2p sharing network software , all you have done is open upthe pc to all of the world you may has well just delete the firewall software & the anti virus& antispyware & turn off the windows firewall, coz when you use p2p sharing sotware you only end up with

no i don't. sometimes you might not like all the songs on one CD, so it's better to download the songs you want. Plus buying CD's are a waiste of money.
