if you are in the United States, yes. It's called "student loans." Nearly everyone is elligible for some type of financial assitance. How much you are awarded is based on income, but you can request more if needed. Visit www.fafsa.edu.gov for more info. You will need to fill out a FAFSA form to begin with, that is then sent to the college of your choice where the money is awarded.

Additonal note to, I believe it was Dee, below. I was awarded 2750.00 my junior year as well, but when I received my acceptance letter I returned it with a request for additional funds, and explained that I needed the max amount alotted ($5000.00 a semester) and was quickly sent another award letter, with the full 5K. If you need more, ask the financial aide office what the procedure is at your school. Most schools have a set amount they award, but you can request up to 5K.

Yeah. But you'll have to go through FAFSA and your school. It's the Direct loan. The amount is ridiculously small but it increases every year until your junior year when it tops off at $2,750 a semester. I did that this year.

I would say NO that there are none from any FINANCIAL insitution.,... such as a bank.. etc. but at the school where you are going.. you should check there.. I got several and I was poor as a church mouse and had zero credit but got a student loan from the school

No, no different own loan you may get with no cosigner. Your mom must be conscious for the plus own loan besides. whilst she is denied using fact of poor credit, you would be offered extra Stafford loans.
