The world was flat untill it was proved to be round, then, "the Bible said it was round" etc, etc.

Well, for the Christian Bible, I would guess they would say it's because in Genesis it states that God created the heavens and the earth. I suppose life on other planets would qualify as "the heavens." But this is just a guess.

Who in the WORLD have you been talking to?

No one ever said the idea that the world was flat came from the bible.

The Pope has one of the oldest observatories there is. If we really believe God is all powerful and created this world and this lame bunch of folks, how arrogant would we be to think he wouldn't try with nicer folks in another galaxy?

I bet all the money i have that we will not come in contact with any other extraterrestrial life forms, until after the 2nd. coming. we might get some evil angels posing as some, but God would not allow that to happen
