If you are talking in general than to have a very good communication skills!!!! I can not tell you how many times my boyfriend has made me mad because he does not tell me what is going on in his life or asked about how mine is! I think that if there is strong communication then the relationship is better which = a happy girl.
If you are talking sexually then i think that you should ask her what "pleases" her. She will know better than anyone what she likes and then you will not feel so lost or feel that you do not even know where to begin because she will have given you direction.
