The way I see it, Jesus was the most well known figure to reach enlightenment. I think he was naturally perceptive, highly creative and very intelligent. No wonder people thought he had divine origins!

I do believe that Jesus Christ was based on a person (or handful of people) who really existed. A person who had a fair bit of political power gained through a huge amount of spiritual wisdom. A sort of ancient Gandhi. I also believe that the writings about him in the Bible were based on how he personally reached the high level of spirituality he did. Therefore proving that his way was only one of many.

Sorry to disappoint you, but if you read about Jesus in texts other than the Bible (which is not the word of God but man's interpretation of it, making it infallible), maybe you'll realise that enlightenment is better than salvation.

BTW, using all capitals is not good. It means you are either rude or lazy.

What do I think of christ?
I think he was no son of any god. Emporer Constantine and some other Roman dudes decided to make him son of god to appeal more to pagans, a child born of a god and human female are part of many pagan religions, a child born of a god and a virgin human female can be found in the Mythra religion, that son was also killed to save mankind and vowed to come back. Sound familiar? You christians would do well to do some research into the background of your religion, maybe then you will stop making fools of yourselves by proclaiming to be of the true faith of the almighty god. Christianty stole most ideas and holidays from Pagan religions. Why not check it out. Or are you too afraid at what you might find? Remeber that christianity is a mere baby compared to the Olde Ways.

I do not have to read your testimony.

I am replying to your question:

1. Jesus is a great prophet
2. He indeed did miracles by God's permission
3. He never died on the cross for he was never crucified
4. He is still alive in heaven
5. He will come back when the End is near
6. He is not the son of God as many believe as God does not beget nor is begotten.

well, thats not the most persuasive argument I have heard!! I think you have more chance sticking with the fake pineapples! I hope your theoological studies bring you more understanding of how to communicate with people not of the evangelical bent and possibly a little humility. Dont forget you will be judged too and simply "believing" wont be enough. You have to treat your fellow people with respect and understanding too. We have evolved too far to still be preaching through fear and threat.

...As a non-believer, I was secure in my surroundings and the people who loved me. There were problems, like divorce and mental illness. My dad was a great provider, and he remarried. My stepmother and I fought and fought. I was a churchgoer as a young teen, but stopped going after while, and so did my friends – marijuana and other drugs destroyed the church youth group. I ran around with friends who my father really wouldn't have approved of if he knew, and we drank alcohol illegally, used cigarettes and smoked marijuana. My dad didn't really know what to do with me.
…After high school, many things started to change, and I could not stop these changes. My friends left for college, and family members were moving away. I felt I had nothing to hold on to, nothing I could trust in, nothing that would stay around forever; I also was not sure about right and wrong, so I started to read the Bible. It was just what I was looking for, and I tried to do in my strength – a miserable failure.
...How I became a Christian: On a New Year's Day, I talked to a pastor friend of mine, and I told him I was not happy - and he asked me if I was Christian. We talked for a while about what being a Christian really means (having a personal relationship with Jesus) , and that afternoon, I prayed asked Jesus to save me and to make me the kind of person He wanted me to be.
...After trusting Christ: I am secure in Christ and in God's promises. He has promised never to leave me or forsake me. He empowers me to live right, and shows Himself strong in my weaknesses (I have several physical problems – diabetes, ½ blind, bi-polar). His word is my guidebook for life, and He promised me eternal life as a free gift, so I am Heaven-bound.
...I married a fantastic Christian lady and we have 3 great kids, all teens now. I reconciled with my parents (my dad, mom, and stepmother), saw my dad recommit his life to Christ, and had many years of sweet fellowship with Dad before he died. My brother and his family are solid believers in Christ, and several of my in-laws are also believers - we share a wonderful fellowship with them.
...Real life to me now is to know Jesus and live for Him by His grace. I know why I get up in the morning. He gives a life with meaning, a life of divine purpose and significance, and Heaven to boot - where can anyone find a better deal than that?

Tell me good friend who doth though seek- est do you seek truth or just what you see.
Remember do not look at what you see and take it as truth, look beyond all sight then truly you will see what lays before you.

Truth lays within lies and life within death surely you are not blind not to see a clear understanding.

arrrghhhh, ye must be a priate too, me hearty! Pray do tell, of what accord do ye speak of him who merits no such kindly words or actions? Who sentances us to an eternity of darkness if we do not bow down to him? Me thinks if he knows me so well, he knows my heart is black, black as the sea on a stormy day.
