Hello. I am a 24 yr old guy who has been struggling mightily with a lust problem. I have a habit of occasional masturbation and watching porn. However, i am a virgin and will be that way till marriage.
I have tried extremely hard to put an end to my masturbation and porn habit. But I always fail. The longest I went without masturbation and porn is 60 days. I wish I would be able to totally refrain from masturbation and porn so I can feel not guilty and totally concentrate all my efforts and hearts on what is more important such as careers, school, friendship.
It seems my efforts is not enough because I really tried extremely hard for long duration of time to be free from these sins. But the fact is I am still struggling.
I need some serious advices and suggestions on how to curb these habits completely. Can you offer me some serious advice?

if you are 20 then just pray you are forgiven and carry on. Some porn is really not a good idea where is your imagenation. You have at least up to 70X77 to be forgiven maybe you'll be married by then. In the original plan you would have been married at least 5 years already.

Well if you don't release the genie on your own, it's gonna happen when you sleep.

Easier to clean up with a tissue handy.

But, I have the same problem but not a christian, so I don't feel guilty or sinful. seems natural to me.

The porn though could get out of hand. You start memorizing porn star names...LOL

Well, like I said, seems natural. Just see it as a tool to use.

one of the best tools that you have is the accountability with your leader.
It might seem a little weird at first, but with God and their help, you CAN over come this.

Oh, by the way i meant MEN leaders.

When you are weak that is where God comes in.

in our weaknesses He is made strong.

you know that verse that says if your eye couses you to stumble, Pluck it out?

Well without going to that extream use the same concept,
if you are struggling with Porn, make sure you dont have any in your house, or around you anywhere.

If your struggling with masterbation, do somthing to get it off of your mind, repent, and continue on with you day.

do not condemn your self.
when we were saved it didnt mean we would never struggle but that when we did sin we would repent and do our best to not do it again.

I hope that helped,
God bless

It's the major religions that cause you to put off the natural functions of your body. It's Christian society that tells you that your sexual urges are wrong. It doesn't make them wrong. Your body was made for sex. The purpose of our lives (as animals) is to procreate. The urges of your body are natural, so stop trying to convince yourself that they aren't. But as in all things, everything in moderation. If you're pumping your fist every 20 mins, then you do have a problem.

You sound normal to me! Masturbate away. As for the porn, I am sure god created the internet so that we could view porn (I am assuming he created the internet since he has created everything else).
He created hand, penis, motion in our arms, porn. I say he wanted you to do all of the above

If you are serious, get two books. One "Thou Shalt Cast Out Demons" by Derek Prince

And "Deliverance from Evil Spirits" from Francis Mc Nutt.

Both of those books contain tips that something might be worse than you think. And prayers to help.

It is human nature. It is almost impossible to ignore. Compared to alot of guys I know you are doing great. Ask any Doctor and he/she will tell you that it is a natural thing.

The more you get the more you want. The less you get the less you need. Stay away from porn.
